  • Will the activities be cancelled if it rains?

    No.

  • Where can I get the official 2021 TD New France Festival program?

There will be no official program distribution this year. We invite you to visit our Program page to learn all about the TD Treasure Hunt.
  • Is it required to dress up for the festival?

No. However, if you feel like it, we strongly invite you to dress up for the duration of the event to create a festive atmosphere in Old Quebec.

  • What is the Medallion?

This year, instead of being a pass, the decoder Medallion will allow participants to decrypt the codes on the keys found through the quests. Accompanied by its treasure map, the decoder Medallion is essential to accomplish the mission!
  • What accommodations are available near the sites?

We invite you to visit our “Practical Info” page to plan your visit!

  • Access for the mobility-impaired

Our team is always happy to accommodate visitors with reduced mobility. However, please note that the New France Festival takes place over the entire geographical area of Old Quebec and Petit Champlain, where the terrain is uneven and rough in some spots, which may present an obstacle for unaccompanied reduced-mobility persons. Having an attendant or companion will make it easier to get around Old Quebec. Our communication tools will indicate which Quests are most accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.

  • Animals

As no closed site is offered, there is no problem to do the TD Treasure Hunt with your dog. Make sure to consult this link right here.

  • Will your event be safe?

Health measures will be put in place by the organization to comply with provincial public health guidelines. Actions and scenarios to deploy the event onsite will adapt according to the alert level issued by the Quebec government.  These measures will be announced on the website and on all New France Festival communications tools, and they will be adjusted as needed as the situation evolves. Click here to consult our health mesures guide.

  • What food is offered on the TD New France Festival site?

As no closed site is offered, there will be no food offer this year. We strongly invite you to encourage local businesses, which are numerous in the Old Quebec and Petit Champlain sectors!
